Creating more precise Gradient Map effects

- Hey gang, welcome to another episode of Photo Tools Weekly. In this episode we'll turn our attention towards Photoshop, and here we'll look at how we can create gradient adjustments and then change the layer blending mode in order to craft unique color effects. All right, let's begin. In order to learn how to create different tone mapping color effects, we're gonna work with a few different photographs as you can see here. I'm gonna start off with this image. I'll press F to go to Full Screen Mode. I'm gonna zoom in a little bit on the image. Now where we're gonna start with our adjustments is to reach for the Gradient Adjustment. There's two ways to select that. You can either go to your Adjustments panel and then just click on this icon right here in order to create a Gradient Map, or you can also go to the base of the Layers panel, and click on the Adjustment Layer icon, and there you can also find Gradient Map.
