Creating a metadata preset

Here, I want to take a look at some techniques that we can use to speed up our overall importing workflow. I've selected a file. I'm going to go ahead and double-click on that file in order to zoom in on that. Now, when I zoom in on this file, it's a photograph of Eddie Vedder and Ben Harper at this concert in someone's backyard. It was quite a show. What I want to do is I want to add some metadata to this image. So, I'm going to go ahead and open up the Apply During Import panel. I'm going to click on the Metadata pulldown menu. What I want to do is create a new metadata preset.

So, I'll go ahead and select New. Now, this will open up the Metadata Preset dialog. There are a huge range of options that we can choose here. In order to just cover one of the essentials, what I'm going to do is I'm going to create a preset, which includes my copyright information.
