Considerations for transferring content from older hard drives
- [Narrator] If you decide to pull a few drives out of the closet to see what's on them, or if you have to find something that's on them, there are a few considerations for you in order to do that successfully. The first one's going to be power supply because these drives all use different types of power supplies. I don't know what the rule is for this, that every drive must have a unique power supply, but it seems to hold true at least for all the drives that I have. You'll notice that on this one, the power supply is much different than on this one, different than on this one and so on and so forth, right? They're all different. So hopefully you stored the power supply with the drive itself so that you can at least fire the thing up.
