Connecting the CamRanger
At this point, the app is seeing the camranger and of course, the camranger is in my hand. So, until I connect it to the camera, it's not going to work. But, that's okay, let's go ahead and make that connection. Now, you’re going to need a USB cable. You can use just about any one that comes with your camera or one that's compatible with your camera and just connect that. Make sure the device is powered on, and then attach it so it doesn't dangle. I've got a hot shoe mount which works pretty well. I could also attach this right to tripod leg. Here you go. Just pull that snug. Nice and good. And I'll just take the cable here and connect it to the USB port. We'll pull the wireless adapter from before. And just make that connection. Alright. Seems to be connected. Let's head back and check the software. I'll quit and relaunch. And, it's detecting the camera.
