…Dust spots and other blemishes in a photo…can be both distracting and a bit frustrating.…But fortunately, we can clean up those blemishes in Lightroom.…And in fact, in Lightroom 5, the spot removal brush has been improved rather…significantly, allowing us to paint strokes rather…than simply use circular areas to correct blemishes.…Let's take a look at the spot removal brush.…In this case, I have a variety of dust spots, probably some spots on…the image sensor, and I certainly would like to clean those up in the image.…
So I'll start off by choosing the spot removal brush tool from the toolbar…below the histogram, and then I can choose whether I want to clone or heal.…Clone means to literally duplicate pixels from one area of the image to another,…whereas heal copies pixels from one area…to another, but then blends those pixels in.…In most cases, I'll utilize the heal option.…I can also adjust the size of the brush, but generally…speaking, I'll adjust that brush size on the fly as I'm working.…And I can also adjust the opacity.…
