Another option for tethering is to go truly wi-fi. And, even if your camera doesn't have built-in wi-fi or a wi-fi adapter available, you can often get SD memory cards, like this one, that will actually give you a wireless connection. Now, there are lots of different cards out there, and I just want to walk you through some of the features to consider. First up, you need to decide if you want it to work with wi-fi, allowing you to connect directly to it and pair with a mobile device that has its own data connection. Or do you actually want to invest and get a card that has built in cellular capabilities. You actually heard me right, you can get cards that have their own dedicated data connections so you can truly upload anywhere in the word, as long as you can get a cell signal. You also have to look at the speed of the cards. Many of the cards are a bit slower, and their size capacity often isn't as high as a traditional SD card.
