Camera profiles

- A profile is a set of instructions that determines how the information in a photo is processed. Raw files require a profile to render the raw data into the image that you see on the screen. By default, Adobe Color is the profile applied to photos when they're imported, unless you import with a develop preset that uses a different profile. Profiles don't change the edit settings, just the way the image looks. So choosing a profile is a good place to start the editing process. With this image that I have selected here, if we look at the top of the basic panel, we'll see profile and the Adobe Color profile is the one that's applied. If I click on Adobe Color, we'll see some other profile options here. These are the ones that have been set up as the favorites. And right now they're all just more Adobe profiles.
