Join Richard Harrington for an in-depth discussion in this video Automatically stacking photos based on shoot time, part of Lightroom Classic CC: Creating Panoramas.
- Oftentimes, when you capture a panoramic image,…the images will be captured in a relatively…short amount of time.…This is ideal, because it cuts down…on changes in lighting or things moving through,…such as the clouds blowing over time.…You want to have as little change as possible.…Also, capturing with a relatively tight capture time period…is going to make it easier to put everything together.…Now, you'll see here that these were spread out just…a little bit, but others here are pretty tight.…Here's this first image…captured at 4:42:06.…
Also at 4:42:18, followed by 4:42:33.…So you'll see that those were composed relatively…closely together.…Now, one of the things you can do is choose to stack these…images based upon time.…I'll press command or ctrl + A to select everything.…I then choose Photo, Stacking,…Auto-Stack by Capture Time, this will look at the capture…time of the images and attempt to create a stack.…
Notice here as you go through, you can adjust the time…between stacks.…In this case, it's saying look for 0:00:30…
