- While iOS devices don't include a normal USB port, they do offer a Lightning port. Older devices, of course, included a different connector. But if your device is so old that it still has a dock connector rather than a Lightning connector, then it probably doesn't have enough processing power to make Lightroom Mobile usable. In fact, if your device is too old, it won't run a version of iOS that's new enough to support Lightroom Mobile. For these reasons, I'm going to ignore older connection kits right now, assuming they only attach to devices that won't work for Lightroom anyway. And I'm only going to look at the Lightning-based camera connection kit. There are two devices that make up the kit. There is the Lightning to SD card camera reader and the Lightning to USB camera adapter. You can buy them separately under those names or you can buy them together in a package called the camera connection kit.
