Join Richard Harrington for an in-depth discussion in this video Adjusting video clips in the slideshow, part of Lightroom: Working with Video.
…One of the things I noticed right away, is that the shots…are way too long and we're only a couple of shots in.…Remember, it's very easy to leave things fat.…So don't forget to trim your clips.…Now, this is easy to do within the slide show interface.…So I'm just going to select the clip here.…Let's click stop on the slide show, there's the video file.…And we'll go back to the loop view.…So you know what?…Let's select that first shot, start a little later.…Shift+i get past the wobble a bit.…And, just be a couple of seconds long.…Looks good.…That's now four seconds long.…This one was 26 seconds, so way too long.…We'll make that much smaller.…There we go, a lot shorter.…And as I just step on through, it's very easy to check the duration of a clip.…28 seconds, definitely long.…So, adjust those durations as you see fit.…Using the handles.…And it's very simple to step on through and see what you have.…All right.…Looks pretty good.…150, probably too much.…Now, this shot does have motion.…That's the good news.…But I'm going to go a little further into it and not use quite as much.…
