The Basic panel isn't the only panel in which…you can make adjustments that affect the entire image.…Now, I'm going to make an adjustment in the Tone Curve panel to tone some…of the brighter highlights in the model's face, to help even out her skin tones.…I'll close the Basic panel by clicking on it.…And I'm going to click on the Tone Curve panel to open it.…The Tone Curve panel has a couple of views.…I'm going to work in what I think is the easier of the two views, the point…curve view.…So if you don't see these region sliders in your Tone…Curve panel, then click that icon until you do see them.…
Now I don't have to understand curves or go up and work in the Curve panel here.…All I have to do is look at the sliders and read their labels.…I can see that there's both a highlight slider and a light slider.…I don't want to tone down the brightest highlights.…Instead I'm after those three quarter tone highlights.…So I'm going to go…to the light slider and drag it to the left.…When I hover over it, I can see on the curve, the area…
