Join Ben Long for an in-depth discussion in this video Adding titles and captions on the iPhone, part of Lightroom Classic CC and Lightroom Mobile: Raw Workflows.
- Before we get to rating, let's take a quick look…at titles and captions.…If you're used to editing IPTC metadata…on the desktop version of Lightroom,…know that Lightroom Mobile does not give you access…to the full set of IPTC fields,…but it does let you edit the IPTC title and caption…and copyright fields.…For those who don't know, IPTC is a collection of…standardized metadata fields…that is used by the publishing industry.…Even if you don't work for a newspaper or a magazine,…these fields provide a handy place to store…ownership information and other details about your image.…
There's one weird bit here though.…At the time of this shooting,…you can only edit the title and caption…in the iPhone version of Lightroom Mobile.…Neither the iPad nor any of the Android versions…offer this capability.…This may have changed by the time you watch this.…If so, it probably will have changed to work pretty closely…to what I'm going to show you right here.…To edit the caption or title of an image,…tap on the image to view it.…
