The philosophy behind the approach to kitchen shots
- So, this is the kitchen we're in today, but let's just talk for a minute about kitchens in general because while this is a very classic layout, which you will no doubt experience time and again, kitchens come in every different shape, size, layout, material that there is. So, you might remember we did basic bedrooms at one point. They're very formulaic. You can kind of expect bedrooms to follow a very set pattern, most of them, and therefore you can shoot and light them that way. You really won't be able to do that with kitchens. Even a kitchen with a classic layout like this one has, are gonna have so much variety, that you're just never gonna do the same thing twice. Imagine this with candy apple red tile. I've shot that kitchen. Imagine this same kitchen, but with black countertops, stainless appliances everywhere, and glossy paint on the ceiling. I've shot that kitchen, too.
