- Hello fellow transformational leader. American poet, Mary Oliver asked, in her poem, The Summer Day, tell me, what is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life? Steve Jobs said it in a different way, "I want to make a ding in the universe." I'm so grateful for the opportunity that you've given me to exercise my purpose, to connect deeply, and inspire transformational leaders who create a better world for all. Know that you are important, no matter what level you are in the organization. You're important because you want to make a difference. If you do nothing else, remember to start each day connecting with your purpose and vision. Take a minute now and write it down on a Post-it. Keep it where you will see it often. It might nag at you, it may inspire you to take a risk. It will cause you to get up when you fail. It will call you forth.
