- Amber is a receptionist who's talking with her friends about a vacation. She looks at her vacation time and realizes she doesn't have enough to cover the entire length of the trip. She decides to ask her manager if she can take those few extra days without pay so she can go on the trip with her friends. Her manager explains that she just can't spare Amber and the answer is no. Amber decides to go on the trip but return home earlier than her friends and come back to work. A few months later, Shirley realizes she has no vacation time left over, but she wants to take a Friday off to go on a weekend getaway with her husband.
