- [Instructor] Now, the first of my two negotiating stories I want to tell you is about a friend of mine. I'm going to call him Nick. And, he runs a company. He's got about 10 people who work for him. It's only a small company. Have about 10 people working for him and they are all useless according to Nick. So, his company structure is him in the middle and all these people just do little jobs for him. And, basically, he's the key guy. He's the one who does most of the selling. He decides on the prices. He develops new product ideas. He is the heart of the company. He's got his 10 people that work for him and they're all rubbish. And then one day, Nick was coming home from work on his motorbike and he had a crash. A tractor had dumped a load of manure on the road as he went 'round a corner by mistake and Nick skidded on the manure, sliding up the road. There's a lady coming the other way in a car.
