- This next video about increasing your happiness is about your self talk. What do you say to yourself inside your head? And the big rule is to always have positive self talk. Never say anything bad about yourself or other people or your situation. Never think, "ugh that person annoys me" or "ugh I hate my life" or "ugh why am I so hopeless?" And we have these things called scripts which control our behavior. These scripts, life scripts, they're really called, are beliefs we have about ourselves that control our behavior. So when somebody says to me "I'm always late" or "I don't know, "I just can't seem to help losing my temper." "I'm always" or "I can't help" are sure signs it's a script. And people are victims of their scripts, we all are. We all have scripts for everything. So, for example, I'm quite an impatient person and I have this belief that I'm impatient. So when I go into a shop and there's a big queue, my subconscious thinks, "how shall I behave?" And it goes, "oh yes, I'm…
