- Now that you have this great culture what do you do with it? A culture of service can do more than keep your existing team engaged. It can also help you recruit talent as you grow. There are three places you can leverage your culture of service to attract the best and the brightest. First, ask your employees to refer their family and friends. Now, if you've done your job as leader to create this culture your best employees will naturally refer people with a similar mindset. And you can expedite this process by making it known you love when people refer others to work for you. And you're thankful to be introduced to anyone who your employees believe would be a good fit. Second, be proactive about sharing your culture in the job ad. If you post your ads online, or even if you use a recruiting agency, it's important to emphasize your culture of service.
