People with bad habits
- In this video, we're looking at people who are fundamentally okay. They're not bad people underneath, they're not even particularly childish or selfish, they just have certain gaps which make them difficult to work with. Maybe they're a bit disorganized or over-fussy, or bad at detail, so they make mistakes every now and then. They just have bad habits. As always, we have the options of working around their weaknesses. Remember that nobody's perfect. In fact, the whole idea of teams is that we can make up for each other's weaknesses, and that by being a team, we can cover everything that needs to be done. Or we have the other option of trying to improve the person's performance by reducing or eradicating the weakness. They may not be aware of it, or they might be fully aware, but not want to change or think that they can't. Let's look at some bad habits. I'm thinking of four particular ones, lateness, being bad at listening, moodiness, and fussiness just as examples. First, the…
