- Remember the story of the tortoise and the hare? It's cliche, but it's a valuable lesson we can apply to leadership. Let me give you an example. One of our clients is a midsized distribution firm. Their founder is a super excitable guy. He's always coming up with lots of ideas. His operations team are the ones who have to implement. So they often find themselves pushing back. Here's how a conversation usually goes.
