From the course: Ken Blanchard on Servant Leadership

Next steps

- I appreciate your watching this series. And I hope that you're willing to become part of what I hope will be a servant leadership movement. And it's just not about this program. It's about making a difference where you are and how can you influence people who can impact organizations and people in other places. And when I talk about movement, I just finished a book called Servant Leadership in Action. And I got 44 people to contribute to this book on what are their perceptions on servant leadership and different aspects and most or any books, the articles are too long. These are all about five, six, seven pages long and John Maxwell wrote the foreword. And I said to him, who should we get to endorse it? He said, Ken, they're all in the book. And so as you open the book it says contributors and there's 3 1/2 pages of the contributors and what they've done. And why do I mention this? Because this is a movement. This isn't just about Ken Blanchard. This about how do we change what's happening in the world. How do we change things in Washington. How do we change things in your business, in your community, and all, because we need leaders who are there to serve, not to be served. And if you want to follow up this, look up this book Servant Leadership in Action. Pass the word on, you can make a difference where you're planted. We can't get everywhere, but we can influence you, I hope, to say I want to make a difference where I am. And I'm cheering you on. Because we got an important work to do. It's all about the world. It's all about where our community. It's all about making a difference in our families. So go do it. Be an ambassador. Be part of the movement.
