- Now in this video, I want to talk about the pear of promotion. P, E, A, and R. How important is promotion? Well, for some people, it's really important and they really desperately want to do the next job up. I'm not convinced that going up the mentioned tree is the answer always in life. You might prefer to be self-employed or you might prefer to do a nice easy job and do loads of things outside of work. But nevertheless, promotion may make you happy, just to go one more level up, to do a job that's a little bit better paid and where you have, perhaps, more control of what goes on, you can make a difference. So if you do wanna get promoted, I really recommend these four things. So, the P of pear stands for being positive. Nobody wants to work with somebody who's negative and is always moaning. So it's really important to have a positive attitude. And I'm gonna come to this in detail in a later section. But just make sure that, at work, that you don't spend your time moaning and…
