- For the first time in history, we've got five generations working side-by-side. We have younger leaders managing workers who are significantly older than them, and many people aren't too comfortable with that. We also have experienced managers trying to figure out how to best motivate people who are much younger than they are. And a lot of times, workers from different generations have very different ideas about how they approach work. So how do we manage all that? Hi, I'm Roberta Matuson, and I'm known globally as the talent maximizer for the work I do with organizations to help them optimize their workforce.
I also know what it's like to manage a team of people from multiple generations, as I worked in management for two decades before I became a consultant. In this course, I'll be providing you with insight and tips on how to manage the five generations at work. We'll also look at some real-life scenarios to help you visualize how these challenges play out at work. And I'll be sharing some ideas on how you can leverage generational differences into opportunities.
