- As a manager, you make decisions all the time. Decisions may range from something as simple as whether Susie can go home an hour early to big budget decisions and everything in between. If you're always operating from a place of mutual respect and collaboration, you're more likely to have the day to day decisions such as sending someone home early seen as fair. But those bigger decisions which require more thought and research have bigger implications, so let's talk about some steps to follow when making decisions that affect your team and the business. Let's say the CEO has tasked you with finding a new customer relationship management software or CRM because the one you're using isn't robust enough. You could certainly do a bunch of research on your own and then decide. Or you could involve your team who will be using it to find out what they think.
