- Did you know that organizations with strong cultures of learning are 17% more likely than their competitors to be market share leaders? The business world is changing so fast that in order for your team to keep up you need to encourage people to share regularly. As a leader you need to create the right values, process, and practices to encourage people to share information and learn from each other. The goal is to increase everyone's shared intellect, making him or her more productive and satisfied with their job. In order to accomplish that goal you need to set programs, plans, and change behaviors. The truth is that your colleagues will be more inclined to share when the behavior is encouraged, at least at first. People need to learn the behavior before practicing it regularly. In order to create a share learning culture you first have to hire collaborative employees.
