Disarming the naysayers
- If you get caught in a riptide, the best way to survive it is to swim with it. Go in the direction it's carrying you. When people try to overpower the tide, they drowm. Instead, use the tide's energy to go elsewhere. When you're working on integrating purpose into your organizational culture and your leadership narrative, you may encounter a naysayer. Negative Nellie, naysayer, Eeyore, whatever you want to call them, these are the people who hate everything.
