Delegating is great!

- So why would you want to delegate work to other people or possibly empower them? Six advantages, the first one is motivation. People love to be given things to do their first reaction might be, oh, I've been given this job but actually they get the satisfaction of achievement and overcoming challenges. So motivation's the first reason for delegating. Secondly is you may get better quality work than if you were doing it yourself. Sometimes people will do it better than you and you might be thinking well, I wouldn't done it like that, but actually their way could be just as good as yours if not better. And I mentioned earlier that if they're given something that you would regard as trivial and boring they might love it and they may do a better job than you. Third is they can learn and everybody has to have a certain amount of learning in their job for their motivation. So delegating's a way to get people to learn.
