Cross-generational workplaces: Can't we all just get along?

- Did you know that in the 1950s, 60% of the workforce was male? That's certainly not the case anymore. Today, we've got a mosaic of employees representing four and sometimes five generations in the workplace. We've still got some traditionalists, those born before 1945, coming to work everyday. Alongside them are baby boomers, born between roughly 1946 and 1964, who seem to have no intentions of retiring any time soon. Right in the middle, we have the Gen Xers, those born between about 1965 and 1981. And then there's one of the most talked about groups in ages, the millennials, born between 1982 and 1997. And now, we have the latest group of high school students and upcoming college grads who were born after 1998 who we'll call Gen Z. Some of you may be thinking, aren't people just people?
