Creating productive habits

- Did you know that habits account for about 40% of our behaviors every day? Leaders who create healthy habits are able to better manage their time, support their team, and accomplish their goals. To accomplish anything, it's important to create both short-term and long-term goals. Once you've committed to those goals, you can start to create habits that will help you achieve them. For example, if you want to lose weight you'll need to prioritize both being more nutritious and regularly exercising. In the business world, if your short-term goal is to generate more sales for a given product, then you might need to spend more of your time hiring, training, and motivating salespeople. After testing a variety of strategies and habits, and interviewing some of the highest performing leaders, I've found that the most important habits need to be bundled into a morning routine.
