- Temporary workers are, stating the obvious here, temporary. They move on. They don't have the same level of commitment as your full-time staff, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't be considering unique ways to incentivize them. You can't offer long-term incentives, so make sure the incentives are useful straight away. Here are some ideas to create a fully integrated, engaged, and committed team. Stating the most obvious one, free food. When I was in the army, we had three rules to take care of soldiers. Make sure they got paid, got their mail, and their chow. Free good food, or the occasional special lunch, goes a long way to setting a tone that you truly care about their basic needs. I am sure you take pride in the work your company performs and the people at your firm also serve as ambassadors for your products, services, and offering.
