- Do you know how most people wrap up their communications? Thank you for listening. Talk about leaving results on the table. From now on, instead of trailing off with a passive close, plant specific action seeds such as what is one thing you're going to do differently when you get back to your office? What exactly are you going to say if potential clients object to our fee? What tangible results will you report out at next week's meeting? Those specific prompts are more likely to inspire action and that's the goal of communication is to inspire action.
