Aggressive and passive behaviours
- One of the most obvious ways that people interact and one of the areas where our subconscious inner chimp or inner child is unfortunately running the show is that of aggressive and passive behaviours. We are pack animals and we need to have a hierarchy within that pack. Also we have predators who want to attack and eat us, thankfully we don't meet them very often in the modern world. And we have prey who we need to hunt and eat. Or at least we did before supermarkets. So fight and flight is built into us, even though it's outdated and often not very effective and it's hard to resist going into aggressive or passive mode when we get into difficult situations like a badly run meeting or an overdemanding customer or a selfish or lazy colleague or a scary boss. The interesting thing about aggression is that it has changed.
