Sequencer things to consider
- One of the things to consider is that this is a simulation software and has some limitations. For example, in this software, we only have one binary table. In other PLC softwares like Allen Bradley, we would have different files and different binary tables to save multiple data sets. Also remember, this program is focused on demonstrating the use of the sequencer instructions. It is not a complete PLC ladder logic program, so don't program your carwash just yet. If we're designing this for real, then we need to consider the different possible scenarios that might happen during the process, like what would happen if a car moves backwards a step or one of the limit switches breaks down? These are things that are important to include in designing the PLC ladder logic program. But this example is a good practice for learning and understanding the sequencer instructions.
