- [Instructor] The destination parameter of the sequencer instruction is the output module address, the address of the output word or file. Due to the way in which the sequencer instruction operates all output points must be on a single output module. So the output devices controlled by one sequencer output instruction will be interfaced to a single 16-point output module. The sequencer output instruction executes the word as following: bit zero first, then bit one, and so on until bit 15. So depending on what you want to execute first the wiring connections and the bits' status change. So in this example on the screen, for step one bit zero execute first, followed by bit one and so on until bit 15. Here's another example. In step one, if we have two devices connected to bit zero and bit three, then bit zero is executed first followed by bit three. The mask parameter is the bit pattern through which the sequencer…
