PLC program flow and control

- [Zahraa] Very similar to a play, in manufacturing and industrial settings, every device, sensor, or machine needs to have a specific task to perform, all orchestrated to produce a certain outcome. The controller, using a PLC program, specifies what action each device needs to perform. PLC Ladder Logic is one of the common programming languages used in industrial and manufacturing processes. Although there are many types of PLC devices, the concepts of the language are the same. In this LinkedIn Learning course, we'll explore some of the advanced instructions of PLC Ladder Logic programming, including bit shift, word shift, MCR, Jump and Label, and sub-routine instructions. I'll explore each instruction separately by explaining its parameters and operation. I am Zahraa Kahlil. I am an engineering instructor, and I love teaching students just like you. Join me in my LinkedIn Learning course and explore the world of PLC Ladder Logic programming.
