(upbeat music) - Ready to try something yourself? For this same example, can you try solving the same process, but this time using a timer to go through the steps? Here are some suggestions. Use a switch instead of a push button, and a timer, and everything else is the same. You can choose any rate for the timer preset value to toggle between the steps. Give it a try, and then you can look at my suggested answer for adding a timer to the same process. Note that your answer or program might be slightly different than the one you see in my suggested answer, and that is fine. If your program works and achieves the same objective, then all methods can work. Each PLC programmer has her or his own style or preferred way to program.
