- [Instructor] Here's a scenario of an example that involves using TOD instruction. Let's assume that we want to count the number of boxes to be shipped in a mail distribution department. Every time an operator finishes a full box he or she presses on push button to start counting. And when four boxes are done a green pilot light turns on. A reset push button is used to reset the counter back to zero. Now I want to show the number of boxes on an LED display. The box and the reset push buttons are connected to input card one. The green pilot light is connected to output card two. The LED display is connected to output card six.
