Probe wires

- Fixing all of the problems on the error list so that a program can run, is often just the beginning of the debugging process. If you notice that your program is behaving incorrectly, or producing strange results, you can investigate using Lab View's probe tool to check the intermediate values on a wire as the VI runs. To place a probe on the block diagram, hold the Shift key and right click to bring up the Tools palate, and then select the probe tool, which has the letter P and a yellow circle. Then to place the probe, simply click on a wire whose data you want to view. That brings up the probe watch window. There is currently one probe in the file Probe Wires.vi and it's Probe Number One, which corresponds to the number of this yellow box, showing where the probe is located. Its value is currently listed as "Not Executed", so I'll run this VI, and as I change the input slider value, I can see the value of the probed…
