What you should know
- [Instructor] To get the most out of this course, you'll need to have a working knowledge of Doppler and Kubernetes, know your way around the command line, and have interest in building microservices. If you need to brush up on any of these topics, we have a number of courses here in the library. If you're brand new to Kubernetes, definitely check out Learning Kubernetes and Kubernetes Native Tools for an introduction. For this course, we'll be getting into the nuts and bolts of microservices architecture on the Kubernetes platform. You can follow along either on a Mac or Windows and you should know how to give yourself root access from a terminal or command line for your platform. This course is intended to be an overview of the methodologies, patterns and technologies used to implement microservices in Kubernetes, rather than a step by step walkthrough.
