- We're gonna get into KONTAKT's robust module effects next. I still have my drum loop loaded from a previous video to show you how group effects work as opposed to instrument effects. I have two zones mapped. One is the kick drum and the other one is the clap. So we're in editing mode now. First I want to draw your attention to these boxes that say "Add Effects," right here. You can see them in both the Group Editor window and also down here in the instrument effects view. This is where you add effects modules to both the group and the instrument as a whole. Let's start with the groups. Now, there are a lot of different effects modules for you to choose from. Luckily, NI built in a great database for you to find out what each one does. Let's click on the Modules tab over here on the left. Here you'll see three different categories; Effects, Filters, and Modulators. If you click on Filters or Modulators, a sub-menu comes up.
