Join Lynn Langit for an in-depth discussion in this video Setting the camera angle for an object, part of Learning Visual Programming with Kodu.
- You've seen in previous movies…that we've added to our game by adding…a visual display of emotion as well as adding sound…to our Kodu character to make game playing…more fun and interactive.…In addition to that, we have the ability to change…the camera angle as it's related…to an individual character or a character activity.…You may remember from a previous movie…that we can change the camera angle…for the game as a whole by going to the game settings.…That's over here, but if we want to work…on the camera angle and associate it to an activity,…then we start in the particular object.…
So to do that, we're going to again associate…this to the Kodu.…Actually, let's play the game so we can see…the default camera angle which is basically…following the Kodu around.…You can see as we, this is the default if we don't...…it's called the free camera.…This is set at the level of the game,…and it's not been changed for the Kodu.…Now we're going to go ahead and go to the Kodu,…and we're going to change the camera angle.…
