Join Lynn Langit for an in-depth discussion in this video Challenge: Create a complex game, part of Learning Visual Programming with Kodu.
- In this next challenge, I'll provide you…with a rather complex environment that you're…going to add some elements…to make a really sophisticated game.…So your challenge is…when Kodu bumps an object,…and there are several objects in the starter world,…have the object say a greeting.…And you can differentiate this by color if you want to,…or you can just have all the objects…say some kind of greeting.…And add one point to the score board.…And make that object vanish.…In addition, for the entire game,…you want to keep track of the score…and set the game as being won at a score of nine.…
So if you've greeted nine objects, or found them all.…However, you also want to program the game…so that after three minutes,…if the player of the game hasn't found all nine objects…and greeted them, then they lose the game.…Good luck.…Allow yourself 40 minutes to work on this challenge.…
