- A quick Google search reveals there are tons of articles, books, and websites on the topic of crowdfunding for film, that cover every aspect including tips on making your video, engaging your audience, and running your day to day campaign. Take a dive and fill in any blanks I might have left for you. The three main platforms I discussed have incredibly useful guides available on their sites for crowdfunding campaign creators. First, the Kickstarter Creater Handbook. Then the Indiegogo Film Handbook, and Seed&Spark has a link to its own handbook too. The best tool I can share with you to aid in your campaign and planning your film's production too, is Google Drive. The ability to create and share spreadsheets and documents easily is a lifesaver, and perfect for working with your production team from the very beginning.
