The flipped class model provides an excellent alternative to sit-and-get education. Instead of delivering lectures to students, it is now possible to create engaging videos that introduce students to content. These videos can then be shared with students so that they become familiarized with the content outside of class. This provides educators an opportunity to engage students in higher-order thinking during class time.
