- [Narrator] One of our most important responsibilities as educators is to engage students in higher-order thinking skills. We now have access to an unimaginable amount of information available to us on the internet. Skills such as memorization and recall are just not as important as they once were. In a rapidly changing world, it's critical that we help students to develop the ability to create, analyze, and apply knowledge to innovative situations. A program such as Keynote isn't usually thought of as one that helps to achieve this, but I think that it can. In the previous chapter, we saw how Keynote can help us create flipped classes, which free up class time to engage students in projects and discussions.
