- [Instructor] Now it's time to talk about…one of the other samplers included in Komplete 11,…and that's Kontakt.…It's a real power house.…There's a whole lot of great stuff that we can do with this.…It's a very advanced sampler.…Things can get very very heavy very quickly,…but for now, what we can actually just look at,…at face value, are some of the really great…instruments and sample backs that come with Komplete 11.…The interesting thing about Kontakt is that it goes…very very deep, but by the same token,…there are many many instruments that are pre-programmed…that actually come with it…that we can open up and have a whole lot of fun with.…
So just a note, when you first open up Kontakt,…if you're in stand alone mode,…you want to just go ahead and check out the preferences,…and yes, that's under regular preferences this time,…but the way that MIDI is set up,…and I'm using a controller connected to port D.…The way that MIDI is set up is with these different ports.…Now, port A is what you're going to be using primarily.…
