Please check your answers and if any of your answers don't match mine, continue watching this video and I'll walk you step-by-step through every problem. Your first challenge problem is letter A which is three s minus five times the quantity s minus two equals negative 22. We're gonna begin by solving this problem by getting rid of the parentheses and distributing the negative five throughout the parenthesis so I'm going to bring down the three s and then I'm going to distribute negative five, negative five times s is negative five s which I'll write as minus five s and then negative five times... Don't forget that this is negative two. Times negative two is positive 10 so we'll write plus 10. Remember negative times negative is positive and that equals negative 22.
