Welcome
- [Emma] Hello, and welcome to this course on DC.js. DC is a JavaScript library used to build interactive, web-based dashboards. My name's Emma Saunders, and I'm going to teach you how to create individual DC charts and tables, such as bar charts, scatter plots, maps, and data tables. We'll also cover how to combine multiple series into one chart, stacking or overlaying series, or even combining different chart types onto the same axes. Once we've mastered the art of individual charts, we'll combine them to create our own interactive web dashboard with all the charts working together. By the end of this course, you'll have a thorough grounding in DC, and you'll also be able to identify the crossfilter and d3 commands that are used in this approach. So let's get started.
