In order to publish to NPM, first create an account at npmjs.com . Then the npm publish command is used to package and upload the library to the NPM registry. After walking through this process, Kent browses a couple of the recently published libraries. The then spends a couple minutes answering audience questions about security and semantic versioning.
(bass and flute music)…- So now we're going to set up automatic releasing.…So before we set up automatic releasing,…I think it'd probably be great to do two things:…first, let's go ahead and just publish it ourselves,…so without automatically releasing,…and then we're going to take a break,…and then we'll set up automatic releasing.…Does that sound good to everybody?…Okay.…Any questions before we do that?…Yes.…- [Audience Member] Can I just go back…to the Codecov stuff?…- Yeah.…- [Audience Member] So token, upload token.…
Do we need to add any of that stuff,…or is this really just on...…- Oh, you mean for semantic-release, or for code?…- [Audience Member] Are we still only in the...…Hang on, the Travis CI stuff,…or do we have to go into Codecov itself and...…- Yeah, you shouldn't have to do anything with Codecov.…Should just kind of magically work.…As long as you have an account with Codecov.…I'm not sure what it would do if you didn't already have…an account when you pushed it out.…Any other questions?…Okay, sweet.…
