Property binding
- [Instructor] What does property binding mean? Property binding refers to a connection between the user interface and the model. In our app, whenever we bind a property in the markup to a property exposed in the component code, that's property binding. For example, in the Backlog Item List of our RPS Project Tracker we have a list of items that is accessible in the PT Item List component. In the Markup we bind the List Views Item Property to the list of backlog items, so using the Angular syntax we're able to create a one way connection between the data and the view. I mentioned one way connection. There are two other types of binding besides one way. Again, a one way binding is what you use to bind a piece of data to a UI property as we've seen. This is the most prevalent way of binding. Another type of binding is event binding, also called one way to source.
